Valentine's Day..or Spring Edit?

Not that it makes any difference here in the UAE, but Spring has sprung! 

We're getting some pretty nippy weather still (thank god, dreading summer in lockdown!! ;() and flowers are blooming pretty.

The first day of Feb for me also means that Valentine's just around the corner, and the inevitable mash-up of floral notes along with the color pink- which you know by now happens to be my favorite color :3

Basing against this gorgeous YSL coat (ahhh the good old Saint Laurent era!) , I took out some of my fave bags and accessories that would definitely play well with this coat!

This beautiful satin coat comes with a floral design and diamond quilted with heart-gem buttons and two front pockets.

Its super comfortable to wear with jeans, as is, or even with a dress inside.

I wore mine with my favorite thrifted pantyhose with pink gradations on it and my Mogran De Toi sandals with an embellished heart-shaped detail.

Who can ever dispute the color pinks against florals? A must-have pastel hue come every spring, never fade in style that goes great against monogrammed prints or plain?

But of course , there is no such thing as subtlety in my style dictionary, why wear your heart on your sleeve when you can wear them on your bag?

or heck, around your waist??

Miranda Priestly may think its too cliche of an idea to don florals and hearts for Spring and Valentine's, but its also an oxymoron to suggest that rules are meant to be broken too? ;)
